Colour correction magic 🪄 brought to you by @k18hair + a whole lot of patience! ✨ Three 6-hour sessions over 5 months ✨
We’re working backwards in the photos—so swipe to see the full journey! Starting with the first two photos: these are from our most recent (4th) session, which was our shortest at just 4 hours. We only did a partial foil to refresh her look since we reached her goal blonde in session 3!
🪄 Photo 3: the after of our third session, when we officially hit our goal blonde! 🤩 We added some clip-in extensions to make up for the length lost during the lightening process—totally expected, given her previously blonde ends and that stubborn red pigment we had to work through!
✨ Photo 4: the before of session 3 (oops, we forgot to snap an “after” in both sessions 1 & 2—can you blame us after three 6-hour appointments?!😂)
🪄 Photo 5: the before of session 2, plus a mini pic my client had from after session 1!
And finally, the last photo is where we began: red colour layered over previously blonde lengths.
✨ We did sacrifice some length (expected!) due to the compromised ends under that red. Hair can only handle so much—sometimes you just have to cut it off ✂️
Now that we’ve hit her dream blonde, it’s all about maintaining strength and health! This transformation was made possible thanks to @k18haircanada —I use the in-salon treatment every session, and she’s stayed committed to the at-home leave-in mask! 🥰
